You totally could. I bought a "fat quarter" -- a half metre divided in half again -- and pressed the edges to fit the bulletin board. Then I pinned the corners with push pins to hold them in place and stapled the fabric on. Ridiculously easy.
That would look awesome in our Youth Group room. I've been thinking really hard about how to spruce it up at little expense. Ikea has very cheap bulletin boards, and that would look great. Right now we have photos on those foam core boards, but I'm reluctant to put them up after some recent renovations, as they look a little blah. Thanks for the idea, Jill!
